If you are british and a Vouge-reader, you certainly remember the testimonial the Brittish Vougepresented in june this year? They presented a health-initiative contract where editors in chief ofVouge in 19 countries signed to not cooperate with models that look malnourished or under age. And with this, Vouge’s aim is to promote a healthier perspective of a woman’s body.
It seems that the editors in chief of Vouge have kept their promise and have also inspired other magazines such as Allure by booking models and actresses with curves featuring their magazines.
The beautiful curvy latina actress Selma Hayek is the covergirl for the German Vouge September issue 2012 -“Macho-(Alp)Traum” , photographed by Alexi Lubomirski. Salma is wearing an embellished Gucci gown on the cover.
Another hot, curvy latina who is the covergirl for the beauty magazine Allure September issue isSofia Vergara, photographed by Cartes Smith. In the issue, miss Vergara takes the opportunity to talk about her curves and of her graceful body.
Ladies! What do you think about these curvy-donnas being covergirls for these magazines?
Do you think that this will affect the modeling agencies to book more models with curves to “repair” their relationship with fashion magazines?
